Soft and comfortable. Used it as a blanket on a 50-degree night when it rained and was warm and toasty. Packs really small. Very lightweight. Would be excellent for backpacking. Much puffier than the picture looks.

My wife and I both used this bag for 3 weeks on the VT Long Trail last year and loved it. Shell does a good job at hindering condensation from getting to the down. Used it comfortably down to the mid 30's F outside, but wouldn't want to go below that unless in a tent. Held up very well, would buy this bag again - a great value.

Used this bag on annual Xmas overnight hikes in the northern catskills. Kept warm in 15 to 20 degrees on a good pad. I love this bag, wouldn't trade it for one costing 3 times as much. The wieght, pack size and how well it works makes it best fast, light back packing bag you can get.You can't go wrong if you into finding that great view to wake up to.

Have used it 3 nights so far. All of them were right at around 30 F. I was very comfortable. Usually with Oklahoma's humidity, a bag rating seems to be 10 degrees off, but I didn't feel cold at all. Really like the very small compressed sized and very light weight.

You can't beat this down bag because of its price. I found it pretty comfortable and about true with its temperature rating (if used with a pad). I like that it came with a storage bag and stuff sack.

The weight and packing size were tremendous. I was in low 20 degree weather in the Grand Canyon and was comfortable as could be. It is very roomy bag. I have the long version, and being 6 feet myself, still had plenty of room. Very comfortable bag.

I love the Mountain Lite 20 sleeping bag. It is the most versatile sleeping bag I own. Very compact, comfortable, at a reasonable price. The only time I take another bag would be for extreme cold.
