I've been trying to figure out a bag that I could scale for most of my camping needs. This one seems to do the trick. In Winter I used an additional liner to scale the bag rating down a few more degrees but it did what I needed and was easy to use. That bag survived Winter on Mt Adams at the RMC cabins and has worked the Summer circuit in tents.
I found the winter limits of this bag. Used in a tent at zero degrees, I found I need 2 pair of socks, 2 pair of nylon pants and a wool sweater to keep from shivering.

Great sleeper
I got this bag for light weight backpacking and summer travel. Good for petite sizes or kids. It's great for warm weather, but needs a liner and/or long underwear for colder nights.
