solid bag...took it with me on a trip to guatemala...granted it was cool, but not cold outside, so don't know yet as to how warm it'd actually be in the cold, but i was sweating inside the bag when fully zipped up (yeah, that sounds nasty huh, but shows you how warm this thing is).
good value for the price.
get a compression sack though to get it smaller and more portable

We purchased this sleeping bag for our daughter for camp. She just loves it! She took it on a canoe trip where conditions can get wet. Best features are light weight, warm, and dries very quickly!

excellent sleeping bag. i used this in november while i was in a thin little tent all night. the temperature went down somewhere around 5 degrees and i was unbelievably warm...it was rather incredible especially when i woke up in the middle of the night and could feel the difference in temperature as soon as i got out of the bag. I also used this backpacking one weekend when it absolutely POURED and the bag was the most comfortable thing around. i highly recommend this unless you want something that has a very small compression bag with it (even though you could probably buy one). it also slides around a bit (what bag doesn't) and the zipper is a little annoying at times but this is nothing to argue with considering the rest of the bag.

Overall I found this to be a pretty good bag, nice and warm. It's lighter-weight and more compact than other similarly priced sleeping bags. It's not particularly heavy, just a little bit bulkier than some of the ultra-light down bags.
