The expandable draft tube gives you the option of adding another 8 inches to the sleeping bag's girth. When it is warm outside, you leave the sleeping bag expanded. When the temperature drops, you simply reduce the bag's girth by zipping up the draft tube.

Durable, Good Value, High Quality
I have the down version of this product rated to the same temp and I love it. The price was good, the quality is great and it's very, very, comfortable. The way the pack expands an extra 8" is great if you're a bigger guy/gal or if you just want to cool down a bit, just expand with the zipper.
