Now that our kids are getting bigger, we upgraded to these pads. They were fairly priced, and VERY comfortable, and offer plenty of room for our teenagers bodies.

It's an ok sleeping pad. It has good thickness, but the covering material is junk!! I've had this pad since '05, and have used it every time I have gone camping. The covering material is way to easily punctured by the smalles things. I am going to be getting the Downmat 7 for my new pad.

Took this on an extended camping trip in Canada. It was fine the first few nights, but felt paper thin by the third. The older version of this was better. We have one like this and one from 4 years ago.

THE CRASH PAD HELPS ME CRASH
By Medic Cop
from NYC on 10/2/2006
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality
Best Uses:
NOT JUST FOR CAMPING
I am a paramedic who works the overnight 12 hour shift 3 days a week.
When I have the chance to sleep I sleep.
While the cots we have at the station are OK. Once, I added the Crash Pad between the cot and my sleeping bag I fell asleep faster, sleep better, and NO back pain from sleeping.
Back pain from obease patients is another story.
I RECOMMEND THE CRASH PAD TO ALL MY CO-WORKERS.
