This was ok - I did not feel any real benefit from sleeping on it though. I certainly did not feel that it was comfortable at all. Plan to purchase a different product for my next trip.
Eastern Mountain Sports Response:Ridge Rest Pads are a classic choice for something to sleep on when your own bed is not an option. They do a great job insulating you from the cold cold ground…which without one would suck the heat right out of you. That said…there are a myriad of options which will not only insulate you but are far more comfortable…most of which inflate and feel as close to home as it gets. We’d be happy to tell you all about them…please call us before your next trip and we’ll make sure you get something comfy to sleep on. You can reach us at 888.463.6367.

I purchased this pad for short backpacking and camping trips. It isn't expensive and for what you pay, I think it's a good item. I sleep soundly on it. It's a little bulky when rolled up, but it still fits in the straps on my pack.

not the most comfortable mattress I've used but, you can't expect too much for the weight. Good price. Easy to cut to personal preferance.

This is the best pad I have ever used. I'm a wilderness school instructor and have used Inflating pads but this has it beat. Its lighter than the z-rest, easy to store and has a decent R value rating. After a few nights sleeping on it you wonder why you didn't get this pad sooner.
