I liked them better than my Tubbs. There is more traction. Taking them on and off (I don't like keeping snowshoes on if the snow is packed) was hard, especially when it's really cold.

I own alot of snowshoes which have great traction and stability, but are difficult to get on and off. These Msr's were recommended because of their easy on and off as well as their traction and stability. They are very easy to put on and off. However, they offer very limited traction on steep ascents and descents and poor lateral stability on uneven snow surfaces.
