Used this snowshoes for recreation on established trails and they worked great. Just tried them out for work and they did very well in the underbrush of hazel in the woods. Would not use with steel toes as they can loosen and fall off the front but with hiking boots I wouldn't trade them for any of the the more expensive snowshoes out there with weaker binding systems.
