Used to climb Old Bridle to Lafayette summit. I am 5'11 215lbs. The trail was slightly packed in the beginning but had to be broken higher up. These snowshoes handled the untracked snow nicely. The binding is almost perfect and the front adjustment is very easy to use. Although, the heel strap could be improved. It uses a flexible strap with holes that grip the flip lock. It is a little too stretchy to get a proper fit. Still held my Koflach boots without too much movement. The crampon is very aggressive and held firmly on steeper slopes. The ascender bar works pretty well and is easy to engage/disengage. I only had one incident the entire hike where they disengaged on me during a very steep section. The only thing I do not like is the binding movement. It allows a lot of lateral heel movement which becomes unstable when climbing with ascender bar raised. Overall I like these snowshoes very much and recommend them.
