I live in the Rockies and our snow is very dry, I sunk into the snow one foot and I weight 40 lbs less than the max weight. My old Atlas, also in 25" float me on top the snow. I am returning these. Also the heel strap kept trying to unhook.
Great for the recreational user!

I was surprised at how light it felt and how easy it was to put it on and take it off. The snowshoes also handled the deep sections of snow really easily, but it was a bit tricky at times on steep hard-packed sections.

Just took these out for the first time. The back strap was a little tricky to adjust the buckle and have it stay in place, but got the hang of it. When i was secured in, these are great snowshoes for the price. It was a lot of fun being out there !

These snowshoes work very well. They go on very easily. The straps can easily be tightened without taking my gloves off, and exiting the snowshoes is just as easy. Traction is good for steep slopes.
