If you haven't used a compression sack yet, you don't know what your missing. This little innovative peice makes a load that potentially requires a 70 liter pack fit in a more managable and manuverable 50 liter pack. [...] I beleive manufactureres should be selling these with all tents and sleeping bags (some do). It also does well with down jackets or other bulky insulating layers. A great example being XC skiing and you shove your jacket into your *smaller* and more manageable pack while you work up a sweat, then as you slow down bring out the jacket again, not even having to feel like you had such a possibly constricting item on your back.
I love this stuff sac. I find myself always pushing the capacity limit and it stands up to the test every time. Ijust need more now.
