The slick outer lining makes it easy to slip in and out of bag. It holds a ton of stuff and really compresses it well. I highly recommend compression sacks for someone looking to keep organized and keep their packs small.

Product works like its intended, no problems, very light when empty. Used it to hold all my clothes on a kayak to wilderness camp site. and it rained all weekend. Bag kept contents dry and clean whole trip. I plan to use it on all my camping trips planned this summer, from Mount Mitchell to Mt. Washington.

I bought this compression sack to stuff my clothes into for a backpacking trip. This product worked for my purpose. Stuffing the sack was easy and the compression straps were silky smooth so compressing load is easy, however, the straps once compressed are too long and can get a bit annoying. Overall, a good product.

Bought this sack for my Boyscout to get his sleeping bag into its compartment. Does it job great. Just bought it, so can't remark on it's durability but seems fine.

I used these on the AT last year and continue to use them for car camping and will use them backpacking this year. I have one for my sleeping bag and two others for clothes. They come in a lot of colors so you can color-code your items - maybe warmer clothes going in a different sack than other clothes, or dirty in one and clean in another. They have never torn or ripped like some other people have said - I even had one roll down a hill of rocks on the AT - perfectly fine when I went to get it. The one for my sleeping bag had the bag pulled out of it and stuffed back in, then crammed into my pack, every day for several weeks - still looks new. The ONLY thing is that the 4 compression straps can get twisted, which is actually not that big of a deal. I'll definitely be getting more of these!

I bought this sack to lessen the size of my large sleeping bag but when I first took the sack out of my pack the bottom strap by which you pull it snapped ripping the material with it. The sack needs to be made of sturdier materials.

Lightweight and simple
By LoriVerified Reviewer from Bangor, Maine on 6/18/2007
Pros:
Very adjustable
Cons:
Small Capacity
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It is very light weight and easy to use. But, I found that even the "size medium" wont fit my sleeping bag without looking like it will rip through tht material.
