I really put gear to the test during winter months. I live in the Adirondacks in UpState New York and do most of my outdoor activities during the coldest months of the year. These glasses lasted me one cold season. They do need small vents on the side to let heat out from face during the winter. Better scratch resistant lenses would help. They did not scratch until month 11 but any gear I own does get put to the test. Just last week I went to put them on and the bottom part that holds the lens in broke. If you have a large face, please use caution. Flex hinges would be nice. The price is good. I would like to see them a little cheaper due to the cheap plastic used. Lens held up very well in snow and glacier glare. I am buying another pair of these. It is hard to find a good price and total eye protection from every element in one package. Plus, I feel like a Viking with these!!!!!!!!
