it's nice to have a foot print. I'd rather replace the foot print a few times before replacing the tent! this one did the job.

The footprint hugs the Hubba Hubba floor perfectly, creating a contoured protective flooring. After using my other tent for a few years without a footprint (I was still super careful not to put it on anything sharp and clean the ground I was setting it up on), I knew it was a big mistake not to purchase the footprint immediately with a new tent. So when I bought the new Hubba Hubba, I made sure to order the footprint too. And the one for my other tent too. Tarps don't work and nothing else protects the bottom of your tent floor from moisture, wear, tear, and sharp objects like a footprint.

It's a footprint, there really isn't much you can do to screw it up. I highly recommend this for the Hubba Hubba model because if you are a minimalist like me you can just travel with the footprint and the rain fly and have a nice lightweight shelter.
