nice tent! can't say enough good things about this tent. it packs small and is a snap to set up. i'm not crazy about the color (i believe in earth tones) and the manufacture's logo is prominantly displayed on the side of the rain fly. no need for blatant advertising in my mind. let the product speak for itself and serious trekker's will buy it. Big Agnes get's 5 stars for top notch customer service!!
Great for all 3 season use. Easy set-up. No leaks or condensation after light rain and fog at 35 degrees all night in November in North Idaho. Vestibule large enough for my Gregory Palisades pack and boots. Ceiling could be 2" taller as well as the doorway, and I'm only 5'6". All in all, a great tent.
I purchased this tent to use at Philmont. The weight for space is excellent. It fit easily into my pack and was cozy and dry even in the most torrential rain. The foot does need to be staked well and a taught pitch is necessary to keep the fly off the tent body. This is also important to keep the fly from developing condensation. At 6'2" I found the foot a little crowded but tolerable in terms of the tent height. The width was excellent although you probably wouldn't bring your pack into the tent. I really like this tent and is the 3rd one I have used for backpacking and am anticipating my next experience with this tent. Considering the daily rain in the afternoons at Philmont and one really harsh night of rain, this tent was dry inside and dried easily in a short period when the sun came out. The mesh is high quality and after several weeks of use looks perfect.
I can not think of a tent that offers the room and weight advantages for this purpose.

almost as light as a bivy bag but so much more room and a great bug screen.

foot vent to move breathe condensation through tent would make tent perfect
This will be the tent I use to bike across the country. With such a light weight, I won;t mind hauling it over the Appalachians and the Rockies! It packs down small enough to fit into my (relatively small) back panniers. The tent also does have a fair amount of room for a one-person tent. I was worried that a one-person tent would feel a little like a coffin, but not the Seedhouse SL1. I have enough to sit up, unlike other one-man tents I looked into. The only problem that I may have is:
It appears that the tent NEEDS to be staked down at least at the foot end to ensure that the tent has enough room and the walls do not sag in. This makes it not a fully self-supported tent in my mind. I can only see this being a problem if I decide to take cover on a concrete park pavilion during inclement weather. But maybe I haven't worked out all the kinks yet. I did just want to say this, because it is something that is difficlut to tell in the online pictures. Otherwise, I simply love this tent.

Light, easy to setup and take down. Enough room to sit up and eat a decent meal. Did I mention light?
