This tent is great. I grabbed this tent right when it came out, it replaced and older design tent from EMS (I believe it was called the North Star). Went in, and even the guy who was working wanted to see it set up, so we set it up right in the store. Once I saw how easy and quick it went up, and how well it was made, I was sold. For a 3 season tent, it was perfect for what I needed. With the Rainfly, you instantly add 2 vestibules for storing gear, or cooking on a rainy day. You should take care to watch from snagging the mess on anything like low tree branches, as a by-product of being soo light, the mesh is thin, and can be torn, however I havnt had any problems with that. Overall very happy with this tent, I would recommend the foot print to protect the bottom.

Lightweight, Roomy Domicile
By ShanefuVerified Reviewer from Philadelphia, PA on 1/3/2007
Pros:
Easy to set up, Large area covered
Cons:
Catches in the wind, Tears easily

Tent has a simple design and is easy to set up. The rain-fly provides enough room outside of the sleeping quarters for gear and boots to stay dry. Plenty of headroom and great mesh area for star-gazing.

Versitile features
By Airborne EagleVerified Purchaser from Greenville, SC on 12/30/2006
Pros:
Covered storage vestibule, Easy to set up, Side and Overhead storage, Taught rain fly
Best Uses:
Backpacking

The double vestibules allow sheltered yet outside storage of boots and stoves. Enough room inside to sit and dress and play cards on a wet, early evening. Pitch a lightweight tarp high overhead instead of the fy on a summer night for excelent ventilation. A very good value

Great tent at a great price!
By vtrescuekidVerified Purchaser from Burlington, VT on 10/16/2006
Pros:
Easy to set up, Wicks water well
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Car Camping

A very easy to set up and extremely sturdy tent. With the rainfly on it holds up great under even the most severe rain storms and winds. The rainfly gives plenty of space in the two vestibules for all your gear. It packs easily in your bag and doesn't weigh that much for a tent that provides this much space. Combined with the EMS footprint you will stay dry as long as you want to set up camp.
