This is a great tent. We have tried several lightweight tents in the past. This is the first one that didn't leak in a storm. It holds up well in the wind despite how flumsy it appears. Can be easily set up by one person. It's listed as a three person tent, but it seems that would be tight. However, we are creatures of comfort and maybe taking up more room than others would. The only draw back is the vestibule. It seems a little small, but I haven't put my pack or other things that would normally go in the vestibule, except my shoes. It would hold a 60lb dog stretched out, if that gives you any idea. Overall, it's a keeper, and this is the first 3 season tent I can say that about.

Awesome tent so far!

I bought this tent because I wanted something extremely light as I want to get into backpacking and back country camping. I also wanted something comfortable, and big enough that I could use it for car camping too. It seems nice and roomy!I hadn't set up ANY tent in 30 years, and I was able to set up this complete package - footprint, tent, fly, and stakes in 15 minutes - and I did it on a very windy day. The only down side to the tent was when I first got the tent there was some kind of "degassing" going on with the material and/or coating - it stunk to high heaven for a couple days! That cleared up quickly after setting it up on the shore of Lake Ontario on a windy day and tossing some lilac tree branches into the tent. That day also revealed that the tent is very quiet in the wind. The tent interior stayed bone dry through a couple of passing showers and a fairly stiff wind with no surrounding or overhead cover. And the fly dried quickly so that I could break it down and pack it later the same day.The cons? Directions for setting up the stake out lines and any description of each of the tent's features would have been nice to have. The provided tie downs seem kind of cheap and/or inconvenient for a mega-buck tent and I'm probably going to replace them with Nite Ize rope tighteners for their ease of use alone. Since a set of Nite Ize are < $10 that's no big deal. It would have been nice to see a "Made in the USA" tag on this tent - but it seems that nearly nothing is made in the USA anymore. Too bad.I can't wait to get this tent on the trail and do some more robust backcountry field testing! The only other issue I had was, the tent came without the small section of "pole patch" that the packaging said it should have. [...]. Hopefully, I'll never need it.
