Great for use on a bicycle by attaching it to the top of the stem with a strap. Also, great for use on a belt or hydration pack. perfect for my needs.............

This cellphone holder is too small to hold a fairly common LG model phone. In all other ways, it appears to be a nicely constructed product, but it seems nobody bothered to see if it would actually accommodate a cellphone. As such, it is useless for its intended purpose.

I really like this Amp Cell Phone Holder produced by Mountainsmith Company. It could be designed slightly better for attaching belt, but still OK for daily and outdoor uses.
nice little cell phone holder, holds phones very secure
Works well - can velcro onto any strap, or slip it through your belt to wear to keep it on your side. Much cooler than cheap leather or plastic holsters. Keeps the phone from getting lost.
After losing my cell phone on a hike I was looking for a secure phone holder. This product has been an excellent option, holding my phone securely, but accessible, through a variety of activities including trail running. The belt attachment is double-velcroed, which is secure but hard to open, so I usually thread the belt through the holder.
I read the product description online. Measurements were included in the description. I measured my phone. There shpuld have been enough room for the phone. When it gets here, the opening that the phone has to go through, is half the size of the measurements, and to stiff to allow the phone to be put into the pouch. So the purchase was a waste of money. We have found a use for it, but not the phone I bought it for.
I haven't traveled with this phone holder yet, but it attached very easily and securely to my backpack strap. It offers good protection for the phone, and looks great. The only minor drawback is because it does grip the phone so well, you have to work a little at coaxing the phone out (I push against the bottom of the carrier so it pops out the top; it gets easier with practice). But this is a common thing with just about any cell phone holder, and it is definitely more convenient than keeping the phone in a pocket inside the pack. I'm happy with the product [...].
