I love this pack. I am an avid hiker and traveler who likes to pack lightly. This bag allows for a good lunch, extra set of clothes or two, and a good novel as well.

We use this pack on vacations as well as day trips. It works fantastic and has enough room to hold items necessary for traveling with a small child which cut down on the number of bags needed. We did purchase the Beacon II Medium bag since we have mulitple lenses for our camera. It works great with the Quantum bag!

Bought this bag from EMS just before i left for Europe. The bag is great! it is easy to access all your gear and it keeps it well protected as the access is on the back. The only issue is that the camera pouch they provide with the bag is useless for a Lensed camera. Way too small. I would recommend buying the beacon II camera bag which integrates perfectly into the Quantums design. it is much bigger and allows for more gear to be accessed from the top door. That said i found the bag to be something i would recommend for travel not for strictly photography.
