No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Overall this is the most useless product I've ever bought because it's too small to put anything more than a computer and a few folders. The outside pockets are useless and poorly designed, so there's no easy access to ipod, cell phone, blackberry, wallet....If you want to get to something, you have to open the backpack. I'd love my money back on this one.
