No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The poles worked as expected the first season. During the 2nd season of use, both pairs (4 poles) experienced the symptom where the lower section would randomly disengage, causing the pole to collapse. The problem is with the 'on/off binary adjustment', it seems poorly designed, but I'm not an engineer. [...]
