my first pair had a weird wrist strap. it was twisted in a way that would make it impossible to hold the way i usually do. [...]my new poles are strong and lightweight and the pack down nicely. they help save my knees while hiking and came in handy on mt. monadnock and camel's hump.

Just returned from using these poles in fjord Norway...they were fantastic! They collapse very small for packing, but never collapsed in the rugged mountain terrain.
As a 5-ft. tall woman, they were a perfect length for me as well. Highly recommended!

[...] I'm 84, poor balance, weak hands, can't adjust screw type poles, need fit in airplane overhead yet extend as needed. [...] PERFECT SOLUTION. Telescopes to fit overhead, slide under chair at concerts, movies, restaurants and elongates to cane for even terrain and to staff length for uneven terrain. A REAL GOD SEND.
