A great Gore-tex product that lives up to its namesake. I use these while backcountry snowshoeing,x-c skiing, shoveling, and in tall, wet brush. They come to right below the knee,which gives great protection. A very good EMS product!
Bought these for backpacking 3 years ago and they're still hard at work. I actually use them more on the job as a U.S. Mail Carrier and find them to be an indispensible piece of gear. They allow me to wear less bulky boots with better traction.

Excellent protection. I bought them a size larger than normal to accomidate for plastic boots and insulated pants - fit like a dream. The top doesn't do up as tight as I wish it did though - this would allow for more versitility, making them fit better when I'm wearing less. Good toughness, haven't had my crampons bite through them yet; something I'm normally pretty good at.

I used these to hike the Inca Traiil in Cuzco, Peru and with the fluctuating weather, rainfall, and muddy stairs these gave my legs and boots great protection and warmth. Not to mention that they look pretty cute with shorts.
