With a Thule cargo box mounted on the rack, we loaded up with beach umbrellas, folding chairs, and 2 week's worth of vacation gear for a family of 4. It was excellent way of increasing the cargo space of my little Bimmer.

This is an excellent rack. By utilizing the factory attachment points it minimizes any chance of scratching or scuffing your paint. Very stable and easy to take on and off.
