Tried these on a day of very heavy wet snow that changed to rain. At first i was very skeptical that they would slide off and I would be getting rid of them. Several hours later and my boots thoroughly soaked through. They stayed in place under my socks, never rolled up as I had feared and kept my toes warm, I never knew my boots actually had soaked through. I was extremely happy to have them on when I got back to the house and had to pour the water out of my boots and ring out my socks. Reccomend them i actually bought some for my brother after this, that is how impressed I was.

Purchased for daughter to wear climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
She previously wore Gator Tip Toes for running in colder weather and loved them.
Also bought Gator Tip Toes for my son who walks to classes and works outdoors in cold university city

Must wear on top of socks or else your toes will sweat and you certainly don't want that.

I've taken three 5-6 mile day hikes at 7,000 feet over rocks, up and down. Improvement is noticed. Sore spot on big toe is relieved.

I bought these on a whim, because they were cheap and now I am thrilled to have two pair. I run and bike in wet areas almost dail and these have been a god send through low puddles and soggy fields. While they are not for wading or down pours, they are a great layer for all those breathable shoes that do nothing to keep water/wind out. Easy on and off, dry quick. They do fall off my feet easily though if I am walking around in socks wondering wear the heck I put my shoes...
