Used as a liner sock on short backpack trip and day hike. The toe seam is extremely bulky and caused the sock to bunch and be abrasive on toes. Also, the sock in general felt abrasive as a liner sock. They will probably set in the drawer until I give them away. I would not buy these again and would return,[...]

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
These are thick for liner socks. I wear them by themselves and they are great. I brought a spare pair on a recent hike. When my son started developing hotspots, I lent him these liners and his feet were happy.

The material is too thick to be a good liner. While the material is soft it is not slick enough and will probably chafe. Also, the toe seam is very bulky and will be a problem on moderate and greater hikes.
