I bought these for my first trip to Yosemite and hiking up Half Dome. They were awesome! I repeatedly submerged my feet in water and snow but my feet themselves never felt moisture. They were extremely comfortable, when my entire body was sore, my feet were great. They gripped the granite very nicely, the only slippage was on loose gravel. Every once and a while my feet did get very hot though. But overall these shoes were awesome and saved my trip!!

Bought the shoe one day, went hiking the next day. The most comfortable recreational shoe I have ever worn. Went on an hour hike when worn the first time, and did not have any problems.

so far i've been using them as everyday footwear to break them in for hiking in the backcountry, and they're super comfortable, very waterproof (amazingly so) and cute. the only thing that i don't like is i can't get the laces feeling just right for securing my foot. if i lace them up tight so that my heel doesn't slip, then it's too tight across the top of my foot and some of my toes get a little numb. if i lace them looser, my heel feels like it will slip out. but even if i leave the laces on the looser side, my heel never has come out of the shoe nor have i gotten any blisters or chafing. these shoes are comfortable enough to get over some slight heel slippage. oh and i always buy my keen's a 1/2 size larger! i heart keen!

Sizing runs small for US sizes, but once I figured out which one fits I have no complaints. I love this shoe!

The fit is just great! I now have 3 pairs of Keene shoes. The have a large toe box which suits my foot well. I am a very active person, and need shoes that I can count on. These shoes are especially good for those with high insteps!

I always have a hard time finding the perfect fit in shoes, and I had to look no further after trying these on. For those of you with wider feet (or flat feet), you'll appreciate the generous design and the larger toe box that gives you room to wiggle your piggies. Coupled with fitted inserts, your feet will be thanking you and you'll wonder how you got along with out them.
i love these shoes, i bought them before a 10 day hiking trip in israel and also brought them for 5 months of travel in eastern europe. they are great for wandering all day with your pack on, and also perfect for hiking up mountains, through wet forests, or wherever you go. they rubbed a bit on my heel, but that was the only con. toes stay dry even when you step in a puddle and the shoes dry super fast too! definately recommend.
