I had to buy a new pair when my dog chewed the straps on the old pair. These sandals are a little work to get on but once on are very comfortable, do not bind or rub anywhere, fit snugly and the soles stay nice and dry.

It took a little time to adjust the straps for a perfect fit but being able to adjust them is one of the best things about this sandal.

So comfortable. I have high arches and usually have severe foot pain from sandals or shoes that I can't wear my orthodics with but my feet feel good in these all day. The straps do take some adjustment and a period of breaking in before they'll stay the way you want. The adjustable straps are great for adjusting to different width feet but my friends with wide feet say the normal chacos are too narrow but they are made in a wider version too. I didn't notice the bottoms of the sandal being particularly hard, but then again, I'm used to standing on my feet all day in shoes with little cushion. Also, I've never had any chafing from the straps and I'm usually prone to blisters from shoes. Overall, they are the best sandals I have ever owned, I only take them off to work and sleep.

Comfortable, cute shoes that are perfect for the outdoors. Fits my feet exactly and feel like I have worn them for years. Love them!

They are a bit uncomfortable until you wear them in. Then you can have years of solid usage.

These shoes are great for everything! They're truly all-purpose; city walking, hiking, biking, kayaking...you name it!
My only suggestion would be to get the style WITHOUT the toe strap. The adjustable straps end up making the toe strap a little too tight and squeezing my big toe :( I've spoken to a few people who share a similar problem. LUCKILY, the shoes come in a style without the toe strap!
