Worked great on a snowy day on the slopes. Helped keep face and ears warm.
I've used this pretty much every day this month. It's so light and small you just about pack it anywhere, the only problem is the hooked side of the velcro causes crazy piling on the fleece and neoprene. It gets itchy after a few minutes because I have a beard. The neck scarf is a little short and requires me to wear a high and tight collar jacket, which can be uncomfortable. The mask is a little tight under the eyes on the cheekbones. The tops of my ears end up getting cold as does my nose. Long hair doesn't fair too well; either getting caught in the velcro or pulling the mask down from the back. My last gripe is that I actually look like a burglarer (and have been stopped by the cops once). Otherwise, I really like it and would recommend it to a short-haired, clean shaven friend. But needs to be worn with a hat and bright colors to offset the burglarer look.
I bought this for my last ski trip. Yes, it looks a little funny up, but at least you aren't freezing or getting windburn on your face. It could be useful for shoveling or anything outside in cold weather. I also thought it looked a little funny when I folded it down and was slightly bulky. I think you are supposed to turn it the other way (upside down) when you pull it down, but I'm too busy skiing to do that especially when the weather is variable. It worked well with a helmet and it wasn't so long or bulky that i had trouble zipping my jacket. I ordered a medium, although I am a fairly short female. I would consider being careful not to order this product too small, unless you know you willl be leaving it over your face all day. The velcro is in the back, so remember to watch your hair when you put it on. Overall, I have never found a neck gaiter I liked better in cold conditions. I cannot comment on durability, but I would consider buying another one in the future because it worked for me.
I have used this to walk & jog my dog at low temperatures and found it to be much much better than just wrapping a scarf around my nose and chin. It's very comfortable, and although I look like a bank robber, I think it's worth it. My only complaint is that by the time I'm breathing heavily through my mouth, the small holes aren't enough to let the moisture escape (vs the nose area which is great) and wish there were a mouth slit instead, or other fabric that wicks away moisture more quickly. Maybe I'm a heavy breather. Overall, I'd recommend this to the lovers of cold weather, but not a cold feeling.

This mask is very useful in my daily work, my only complaints is that it tends to wear out after about three months of regular use, and I wish it came in a bigger size.

This is great for filling the gap between my motorcycle helmet and my suit. it pretty much covers the last piece of exposed skin I had left, and makes riding in cold temperatures much more fun.
