I bought this jacket for a friend, who is about 5'9", in size medium. The jacket fits well and protects from rain & wind and can be stuffed into a backpack without adding much weight or space. He thinks the jacket is fantastic except: the jacket should be somewhat longer, providing more coverage in rain. If you're wearing waterproof trousers, no problem. But if you're not, the rain runs off the jacket and soaks the trousers you're wearing -- a bit more jacket length, and the rain would fall away from the body a bit more. That said -- this jacket offers excellent protection from heavy continuous rain and high winds and is even comfortable in cooler dry weather, with or without your backpack.

Great warm weather rain jacket. Can be layered with a sweater in cool weather. Incredibly light. I'm 5'11'' 180 pounds, and a Medium fit my shoulders which usually demand a large.

I had this jacket for about six months now, and Have had no defects in workmaship or material. Have worn it in heavy down pours with no leaks or wet spots
It is extremely lightweight and easy to pack. Also a great three season jacket when paired with a fleece.
My only complain is teh same as the others. The jacket needs more pockets. Especially hand warmer pockets. Thats what kpt it from getting the fifth star
I had to buy light water proof gloves

I have used it for wet and cold winter running, just what I was looing for...light weight and fits over several thin layers. But I am 6' 3" and the body is a bit too short..needs tall sizes. Otherwise perfect. I also use it to watch my kids play cold and wet weather soccer...perfect.

Was looking for a lightweight, waterproof jacket for biking, casual wear and to layer on when visiting the mainland during the winter. Excellent jacket and it works very well. Only thing is the main zipper is difficult to get started, [...]
I am happy with this product.

This product is durable, lightweight, and waterproof. Product is also stylish. Only negative comment is that I wish it came with waterproof pants also.

Needed a muted colored waterproof shell for a business trip to Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan and this fit the bill. Paired it with a fleece vest as my only outerwear on the trip. The combination worked very well in conditions ranging from mid 70's and windy all the way down to mid 20's with blizzards and freezing fog. My only complaint is like everyone elses... NOT ENOUGH POCKETS. Other than that, it was great. I would still highly recommend it.

We really like the jacket, the color, the fit...the only thing it does need is more pockets. That is the only complaint we've heard. There are some skiers here and they plan to wear it at Jackson Hole later on. We are a construction management firm and are wearing the jacket to our jobsites. Keeps out the rain and so far seems warm. Winter hasn't begun here yet.
As advertised. Thank you EMS!

Recent purchase. Just gave it some extreme duty in the Mahoosucs...Iced over Notch and 4 days of freezing and torrential rain. No issues at all with the jacket. Loved the hood. One more outing like this and I will declare it bomber.

Solid lightweight rain jacket. Would have liked side pockets as opposed to Napoleon-style ones. Pit zips are tricky to adjust on the fly (I ride a bike in the rain)--most jackets have this problem.
very well-made, waterproof, light

Goes well with the windstopper fleece to make a good mid-weight jacket for any conditions. Just what I wanted.
