Needs more work on the waistline

Pros:
Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable
Cons:
Bulky, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Velcro tabs don't hold
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The velcro closures don't hold and therefore the zippers come undone on the side. Needs more pockets. Elastic waist band not sufficient in the front. The pants need a way to create tension all the way around the waist. Velcro does not allow this. Didn't really get to test these in serious rain either but would question their ability to do the job with the opening occuring at the waist due to velcro closures.

The product serves well as a light weight rain pant, but as seems to be typical with many products lately, a medium seems more like a large.

Pretty good pants, not great

Cons:
Bulky, Delaminates, Unpleasant fabric
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Hiking

The pants are good hiking rain/wind pants. I bought them to replace my old similar pair. They have full zips, which is great and hard to find at this price.
Cons: The fabric isn't like the old fabric. It has a somewhat unpleasant texture to it and feels 'rubbery'. Also, the old pair delaminated after what to my mind was too short a time. EMS doesn't replace such things any longer, they only offer a "pro rated" refund, which is useless. It's less than the shipping. The fit is now odd, as well. My old ones were trim and fit very nicely for a Medium. These are baggy, which is no fun when hiking (they make noise).

These pants will keep you dry and are very breathable. They are comfortable and lightweight. Could use a few more pockets but other than that they are a great product.

Purchased this product along with the jacket. Rolled it up, threw it in my backpack. Couple weeks later was out hiking and it started to rain, cold winter rain. And guess what? I was prepared. Rolled out my pants and jacket, threw them on and off I was. Not only it protected me from the elements, but actually enhanced my hiking adventure. This is a must for all hikers!
Men's Thunderhead Rain Pants, Full Zip

The velcro side closures are not strong enough if you zip the zipper down from the top. I had to add suspenders. They are cut a little short in the rise, not enough space in the crotch. Overall they are good for the money, but I spiked mine with my crampons and they won't be easy to fix.
