great poncho - it was our first camping trip in the Adirondacks and it rained pretty much the entire time. Luckily it wasn't that bad. We did have to use the poncho's for the canoe trip back to the park office. Worked out well.
I carry the poncho to work in my backpack. If it is raining, I can put in on quickly. I got the gold color for visibility. The poncho stands up to steady rain, the hood is easy to adjust, it weighs little and perhaps most importantly it folds up easily into a small pouch which can easily be carried anywhere.
The size is good for my husband and covers his backpack too (he is 5'7"). He hasn't had the chance to use this yet in the rain, but it fit well when he tried it on.

I bought this poncho for my husband when his car died and we didn't have enough money to fix or replace it. Now on days when I can't give him a ride he walks 2 miles home from the train station. He loves this poncho and I like that the bright color makes him easier to see on a dark, wet night. I think it could breathe a little better though because he perspires pretty heavily under it. We love your products and services though and are very athletic, we may be back for some hiking and camping gear this summer if we can find the money. Thanks for great products!-Sarah [@]
10 member trip to Costa Rica......poncho worked beautifully: quiet in rainforest; quick to dry, easy to pack, muted color perfect on trails (foreest camoflauge)
Though not the most attractive looking garment, it sure did come in handy in the middle of the rainforrest! It was big enough so that it covered me and the backback I was wearing and it folds up nice and neat back into its little pouch.
Whether hunting elk, moose or deer in Southeast Alaska or caribou in western Alaska, my EMS poncho has kept me dry during my multi-day trips. In Southeast I'm either traveling by skiff to the beach or by 4-wheeler on logging roads and then hiking for miles through the woods, and then back to camp. Out west we're either on a river or hiking around the stunted vegetation totally exposed for days in a remote campsite. The weather can range from beautiful Fall weather to moonsoon-like rains, bone chilling winds or horizontal snow--no matter the condition my EMS poncho has enabled me to remain dry no matter what type of "waterproof" hunting gear I'm wearing and that's key to any multi-day hunting trip.
