Very good heavy-duty tights for cold weather, compares well with similar Patagonia products that cost more, but the fit is not nearly as good. When squatting/sitting down, the back slips down too low rather than staying in place. Not terribly reassuring at first, but after a while not really noticeable, especially when worn under other pieces of garment.

Awesome level of warmth with one other layer on a neg. 20 degree trek in the woods. The ankle cuffs are good and slipped over boots well to keep snow out.
Overall one of my favorite heavyweight longies.

Great performance on this piece, went up Mt. washington with it in NH and since legs are usually warm anyways on the move its breathability was superb, and did not overheat at all.
I wear it under my jeans in Rochester, NY on a colder day but the T3 is a little warm if you're not outside all the time.

My first pair of tights for running, so not much to compare to. Kept me very warm running in winter, but weren't overly breathable. Still look a bit like long underwear instead of running tights. Great pants for the price.

I have these and have been wearing them as a tight so far for running. They have been wonderful and when needed I can also wear them as a baselayer for warmth.
