Again, I have to say the lack of choice for color is a turn off.

I love these shirts. They wick away moisture while I'm snowshoeing, skiing, kayaking, walking, bike or unicycle riding. Very comfortable with arms long enough for tall people, though I tend to buy men's clothing when its similar to ladies for extra shoulder space. My husband wears these for warmth as an undershirt for work. I do miss the old style cuffs with the holes for my thumbs to tuck into my mittens.

This is an excellent top that provides superior comfort, keeps you dry (for those with perspiration problems), and keeps you warm in mild winter conditions. It is not as warm as it's L3 Techwick brethren, but it is more breathable. My advice, use for most ski/board days, unless it's absolutley freezing. Then switch to L3 and deal with ensuing odor problems L3 causes.

I love Techwick and wish I could buy more of it. But this shirt was a disappointment. The arm holes, in particular, are too tight and the neck band is a little tight as well. I am not "huge" nor am I a bodybuilder, but this was really too small in the "moving areas." It was the right size everywhere else, but not in the arms and neck.

Happy with shirt's general fit and breathability but do not like sleeves. Sleeves are four inches too long which would not be a problem if they were finished differently at the bottoms; perhaps some sort of elastic cuff. Otherwise, a very good product.

This is a very comfortable shirt except for one thing. The way it is stitched at the armpits causes chaffing. Maybe a size larger would be more comfortable, but I personally don't like loose fitting underlayers.

the first time i wore this shirt was white water rafting... which is not the best environment to try out such a shirt however it worked fine. It is fast drying but should be used for 50 degree plus weather. this is not to be worn by itself for super-cold weather.
On another note: I really like the fit.

I bought this for my husband along with the matching pants. He had gotten me the female version and I LOVED IT so decided to get him some, too. He wears them all the time - his work place is very cold and it helps him stay warm yet dry. We also went skiing this past weekend and he stayed warm and dry all day! The top ended up being a bit bigger than I thought. The women's fit was much tighter. No problem though - He's completely happy! We love EMS!!

I got this along with the bottoms (which he LOVES) for Christmas for my husband, but for some reason these don't work for him. He says that they are a bit tight in the shoulders and too scratchy to wear next to the skin. I think they might be fine for me (albeit a bit big!), so we're keeping them though.
It performs well in most all conditions.

With this new version of the mid-weight top, EMS ditched the thumb-hole cuffs, and I applaud them for it -- they only every got in my way. The fit is still the good, snug form fit, with the extra plus of a better shoulder design that makes for better comfort and flexibility. That it comes in something other than black makes it more versatile for a wider range of warmer weather and more casual settings. My only lament is that its no longer offered in a "Tall" size.

I bought this in place of the bergelene, but I was not happy with it. The bergelene was a lot more form fitting, had holes for your thumbs, and came in tall sizes. I will buy more bergelene shirts if you make them again. Thanks.
