Compared to bergelene this product sucks
By Chip
from SLC, UT on 1/20/2007
Cons:
Cold, Doesn't wick well, Poor Fit, Stiff cloth
Best Uses:
Sent it back, Wouldn't recommend it
Describe Yourself:
Expect performance, Practical
compared to bergelene products techwick is awful, it is ill fitting, cold to wear and the cloth is stiff. I wore it on a very cold day and was NOT pleased with the performance at all. I am a ski instructor and expect your products to perform as advertised. I wore the bergelene on a day with similar weather conditions and it performed very well. Bring bergelene back!!!!! I have been a customer since the late 70's and this is the worst product change you have made. Please bring bergelene back or tell me where I can purchase it. I will not be ordering from EMS again until you do
Eastern Mountain Sports Response:Bergelene is now called "Techwick performance long underwear." Same stuff, just a new name. The Bergelene name and product was exclusive to EMS…Bobby Berge for whom the product was named was an EMS employee…so you will not find it anywhere else beside maybe Ebay or Craig’s List. The Techwick line has quickly become one of the most popular and successful lines EMS has ever produced. We stand by our guarantee. For more info call 888.463.6367.
