This is a great shirt. As a skier I am always looking to be warm but not have to wear billions of heavy layers. This T3 makes it possible. I can wear it by itself on a warm springlike day or with a T1 on a frigid day and still be warm, mind you, you have to wear a coat on those days too but no worries, IT'S ONLY 2 LIGHT LAYERS. The best part of it all is with so few, light layers you can actually MOVE, what a concept. GREAT SHIRT. Hope this helps you.
Comfortable, warm, and stinky.

The top is excellent, but despite using an ungodly amount of deodorant, the material is the only one (L2 and L1 Techwick do not present the same problem, only L3), that makes me smell not so pleasant. I've gone to using the L2 shirt simply because it's not cool to stink. Don't know why the L3 does this. Perhaps it is not as breathable as I think.
It does keep your core nice and toasty and it was quite comfortable too. The soft material is great on the skin. I definitely like the product, but something has to be done in the axila area.

I love this piece because it works like a fleece without looking alike a fleece, i.e. it's practical but doesn't make me look like a mountain man. Great for the City.[...]

A little pricey for the product, very warm...wears very easily. I bought this back in January and it has several pin holes where the material is worn. Very comfortable. Has put up with a lot of abuse. I've worn it 3-4 days a week running and hiking.

I have had this T3 top for about a month now, and must say that for the price it is absolutely fantastic. I keeps you very warm, and has the added benefit of not smelling even after you have worn it for more than one day on the slopes. The downside is the zipper which rubs against your neck, [...].It also feels a tad large in the back, but I like things larger.[...]I will probably use EMS Techwick as my main "beater" clothing. Dollar for dollar, they are tough to beat.

The material is better that I expected. It is an improvement from a previous material used for the same product. It is light weight yet warm and comfortable. I am ordering more in a few more sizes.

Good product overall-I bought a Med. and it's a little loose around the collar. Zippered collar rubs on neck a bit. Is warm and breathes well.

first buy of techwick garment. Liked the feel of the shirt as well as the fit (it is large and comfortable like a good sweatshirt)Weather has not been severe enough to rate it for insulation but it washes well and it is a sharp looking shirt.
