I bought these (in 2 colors) specifically for kayaking and they really filled the bill. You can barely feel the fabric; they dry fast and have nice vented panels on the sides, which should make them great for running as well. As to fit and style, well... my Significant Other volunteered that I looked "hot" in them, so no complaints there. My only quibbles are 1) I prefer even running shorts to have a real pocket, so I can carry at least a few tissues, not just a single key; and 2) the contrasty white drawstring draws a little too much attention to itself - a tie that matches the fabric would look better. All in all, money well-spent[...]!

The first thing I liked was the color (I got them in sangria), but after trying them on, I fell in love with the light-weightedness of them. And they have a little mesh inner "panty", so great for jumping in the ocean! Also, an inner pocket, just big enough for your liscense and some $. The fit is not-too-tight, not-too-baggy, and with the drawstring you can adjust accordingly...I definitely want more!

These shorts were very cute and didn't bunch up at the gym - although they look a little poofy in front, I rolled down the waistband and that fixed the problem.

Very comfortable fit. Do note that the drawstring is not for show - the waist is sized a little larger than "street clothes" for comfort during a workout. A nice change.

OK I simply LOVE these shorts, they really fit well not bulky or too skimpy. I pretty much don't feel them when I trail run, hike, they don't bunch up and dry very quickly if I wear them kayaking. I really like the bruilt in underwear, not restrictive and fits well. I have a pair in every color.

A good pair of shorts, in great colours (I bought pink and black). I bought these shorts in store so I was able to try them on. Normally I would take a medium but the small fits better. A bit of a strange cut - it hangs a bit funny in the crotch, but overall a comfortable, breathable and light short. I love the little pocket on the inside for my housekey/emergency quarters. The waistband is very comfortable and doesn't cause the short to "pouf out" like a lot of other running shorts. A great bargain for half off.

I ordered the recommended size for my measurements but a size smaller would have been better. I like the lack of elastic and super light weight. Price was high for what you get.

Akward style with the material around the inside of the legs being longer than that on the outside. Very comfortable but i don't like the style
