it works, but it's tight!!
By slim turtleVerified Reviewer from Woodstock, GA on 9/24/2007
Waist:
Feels too small
Pros:
keeps the girls in place
Cons:
Uncomfortable
Best Uses:
just for running
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

If you really want the girls in place, this is the bra for you. It does, however feel like a medievel bodice. My husband had to hook the back the first time. I was comfortable while running, with NO movement in the breast area, and I actually ran faster downhills because of the lack of bounce. However, before and after the run, it just feels so tight. I was careful with sizing, and might order another one, but a size larger, I'd rather have a little bounce and be able to breathe before and after my run.

Good but not not quite great
By CADVerified Reviewer from Albany, NY on 8/31/2007
Waist:
Feels true to size
Pros:
Full coverage
Best Uses:
Moderate-intense cardio
Describe Yourself:
Active, Comfort-oriented
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This bra minimizes the upward movement of the breasts during cardio activity, but the downward motion isn't any better than some of the less expensive performance sports bras I've purchased. I'm a 36 DD, and struggle to find proper support for the intense cardio activities I like (I've pretty much accepted the fact that I HAVE to wear 2 sports bras). The one thing this bra lacks is the compression aspect that seems to minimize the downward pull for me. I think pairing this bra with a good compression sports bra will provide the the motion control that most large breasted women seek.

I have always struggled with trying to find enough support for my large chest while running, and before buying this bra I used to wear 2! Now I have all the support I need in one bra and not having that extra layer feels great! This bra is extremely supportive and it's also comfortable to wear since the straps don't dig into your shoulders. I would definitely like to see this in white though!

Finally a supportive, comfortable running bra that doesn't have gigantic seems or hooks or underwire.
Seems tough to get into at first, but well worth the effort. Only downfall is simple L-hook at back that has to be closed after bra is on. Once on, you hardly notice this layer at all. I run long distances (marathon) and have had no chafing so far.
Only wish it came in white or some other light color to deflect instead of absorb the sun!
