I bought this as a gift for someone and they loved it. Had been looking for one for years. Had bought one about ten years ago at Eastern Mountain and lost it.

As an avid kayaker in Florida, I would recommend a couple of improvements to your hat. First, I would suggest making the brim stiffer. Having the brim flap around in the wind is not only distracting, but there is no benefit to having a wide brim for sun protection if it is constantly flipped up from the wind. Also, the medium size is probably the correct size for me. However, it is a bit too snug for my head. I would recommend making the hat a bit larger for each size and add a cord around the hat band so the user can adjust it to get just the right fit around the head. Because it is a bit too snug, the brim takes on an odd "roller-coaster" configuration. [...] The fit and the dark color will probably keep me from wearing this hat as much as I would have expected.

Nice hat but I wish it had a velcro size adjuster. I have the extra large and it's still tight.
