This was a great item to have overnight packpacking and camping. Kept the bugs out yet was breathable enough to wear on early morning hikes.

I wore this as an under-layer for a ski trip to Breckenridge between Christmas and New Years Holidays. It was great for layering and felt like my silk underwear. I didn't care for the thumb holes in the sleeves though. When I put my thumbs in the holes, the sleeves were too short and felt uncomfortable, and I don't have long arms. Other than that it was a great fit!

Using the thumbholes keeps wrists covered during cool weather kayaking without use of gloves. Can be worn alone or layered. Very soft, comfortable with plenty of material to wear the turtle pulled up or folded when it gets warmer. I wear often under a regular turtle, sweatshirt or fleece.

Most recently wore this on a hike on new Year's Eve day in PA...the weather was 'warm' and this was perfect wicking under a mid weight fleece. Also great for cold weather sailing as a base layer, keeps you dry and dries quickly. Love, Love, Love the thumb holes in the sleeves so the sleeves don't ride up and stay in my gloves!
