Pros:

Cons:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This jacket is warm, and it packs down reasonably small. It's not very attractive, however, and it lacks features such as zippers on the pockets and an internal pocket. I would only recommend this if you could purchase it at the price that I did (a little less than 1/3 of the retail price).

I had been looking for a down jacket and got this at a great price. I Love that EMS has extra small sizes as their XS fits me perfectly! It would be nice if it had a hood - but the jacket is very warm and not too bulky. I probably wouldn't wear it climbing or extreme conditions - but for around town and general camping - this jacket is the ticket!

This coat was warm and lightweight. It feels a little too large, however that does allow for layering on really cold days. I like it because it is a perfect jacket to wear for walking around town and for going skiing. It stops the wind, is warm and not bulky. The value was excellent. I would definately buy it again.

Jacket would be even better if the sleeves were a little shorter and the jacket length was a little longer! Otherwise a great jacket for the cold weather.

Jacket is warm but I thought poorly fit- snug in hip area and very loose in waist area, almost like a bomber jacket. Also very short, wouldn't recommend it for anything but casual and around town wear.

If you are interested in a bomber style jacket that has a real vintage look (very 80s looking), this is the jacket for you! It's very warm and that's why I'm keeping it (for walks in freezing weather) but it's not my type of fashion (too vintage) and it's larger than I expected (especially in the torso area). Looks more like a man's jacket.

Great value for the money. Very warm jacket, almost too warm for street wear. Did me well in the mountains. I wish it had a hood and a cinch cord in the waist. DWR finish helps keep the dampness out.

good deal

Pros:
Breathable, High quality, Warm
Cons:
No drawstring waist
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Snow sports

I love the feel of the fabric and the quality is perfect. There aren't that many snowsport features, no cord to attach a lift pass, no drawstring to tighten the waist. The jacket seems to run large in the torso, sleeve length is perfect. Overall, this is a good deal for this sale price.

I have not tried it in snow yet.

warm enough for chilly weather...

Pros:

Cons:
No cinched waistline, Not for wear in the woods, Torso Too Short
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Cold Weather

I like the look of this jacket, it's a perfect mix of warmth and style (I have the black color), but I wouldn't wear it in severely cold conditions without many, many layers. But it's warm without looky goofy, perfect for walking around the city without knocking people over with a bubble jacket.
