I use my new fleece for outdoor exercise and plan to use it camping. I love the fit, the color (I got the moon color) and the little pocket on the arm for my i-pod.
Over all, it feels and looks like good quality.

The jacket feel overall is soft and comfy but I find that its just a little to tight across the chest and in the arms, esp the forearm and wrist areas. If they had made it just a little less fitted it would be perfect. When they say fitted the MEAN fitted!

a large would be too tight for what is worth...if i knew I would have ordered a XLarge. Beware about this if you rely too much of its nominal sze. my wife keeps it nevertheless

I live on a college campus and have to carry an ID card with me to access a lot of places. The jacket has an awesome pocket on the sleeve that makes it easy to keep my card in, even on runs.

Good for everyday use in the winter at home, as well as outdoor activities. I see what the other reviewers mean by the wrists being small... works out good for me, but my wrists are small.

Ordered a similar style from another outdoor catalog, same size. The other catalog's fleece fit perfectly. I really do think that EMS was mislabeled - couldn't get my arms into the sleeves or zip without stretching to close.

Purchased the teal one and loved it, so ordered the black one as well... This is definitly a product I would continue purchasing if the other colors were better (too bad there isn't a red or various shades of green!)....
Not sure if its a con or not- but the wrists are VERY fitted. If someone has larger hands, may not fit right (putting on and taking off)...
HOWEVER-- I think having it more fitted there may attribute to how warm the coat keeps me. I honestly can say I have never had a fleece-like jacket keep me as warm as a regular winter jacket before...super impressed.

I bought this fleece to wear under a raincoat or alone as a jacket on my upcoming trip to Northern Italy in March. It looks fine by itself, it fits under the raincoat well, it's warm without being bulky and is shaped well enough to be stylish.

It's below 30 degrees Fahrenheit in NYC and I'm wearing it right now in the office. It's perfect for grabbing it out to wear on cold days and it goes with most things.
Fit is wonderful and it's athletic looking and versatile. You can wear it anywhere and you know it'll keep you warm.
Good product for the price. Can't complain!

I wear this jacket when outdoors, and it keeps me warm and dry despite inclement weather. It can be used alone although it has snaps at the sleeve which I assume are meant to be used to snap on a shell. The sleeves are somewhat tight, but they effectively keep out the cold. The pockets are not too large but are big enough for a pack of tissues or similarly thin items.

This fleece is really warm and comfortable. It's nice to be able to go out on a cold winter day in a fleece, rather than a bulky coat, and still feel warm enough. It seemed to run a bit small...I bought a size up from what I usually wear. I don't like the overall fit as much as another EMS fleece I own, but overall, I'm please with it.

It is great as a base layer on really cold days. The area I go to school is extremely windy so it's perfect to insulate under a windbreaker. The zippers are really good as well. My only complaint is the sleeve length, it seems rather short but it still covers my wrists but it would be nice to have that little extra. The length of the entire jacket could also be a little longer for comfort but it still covers your mid section.

This is a very nice jacket, the design and fit are great. My only complain is that it's a bit tight on arm, around the wrist area.

This is a great fleece to throw on if you are running to the store or are chilly in your office. Many people have mentioned that the cuffs are too tight. They are small, but it helps keep the wind out! Keep this in mind when ordering and maybe go up a size for layering and access to your watch.

I returned this jacket because it is drafty at the bottom without elastic panels or a pull string at the bottom. I don't understand why anyone would like a fleece performance jacket that was cut like this. I like my fleece to keep me warm on my own, and this one would not. I liked the rest of the design, but the con was too large. You should consider redesigning this jacket.

Great jacket. I love the over all body fit. However, the tight wrist openings make removing the jacket a bit difficult.

exactly the fleece i've been searching for. great for everyday use in moderate temperatures. designed well, comfortable.
fits true to size except the upper arms are slightly big while the wrists are slightly small.

Was unhappy with the sleeves, the cuff was so tight that I had to rip out the seams. Instead of a zipper on the upper sleeve, why not put them on each wrist cuff.

Keeps the warm in and the cold out. Havn't used it yet in physical activity. The two pockets in the front are nice to put cellphone etc. in.

This fleece is such a great deal. I use it for my snow sports, for climbing, biking - it's very warm + rugged. I had to get used to the wrists being SO tapered, and while I do think they are a bit tight, they are great for trapping heat in and for pulling your gloves over. I think the neck is a little tight too. Otherwise the length and shoulder-width of the S felt perfect. The tapering around the waist was nice, but compared to how fitted the top/chest/sleeves of the jacket are, I felt the waist was too wide and let a lot of cold air up into the jacket.

My fiance has the mens version of this fleece and I was always putting it on to go do my laundry (we live in an apartment, so I have to leave my warm apartment to do laundry). So, finally he suggested that I get my own. Im so glad I did! I love this fleece, it is so warm and so comfortable. We went biking a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty cold (January in New York-long island) and I was very comfortable in it. I want them in more colors now!

This jacket is great. The sleeves are a little snug at the bottom, but I like that. I've walked half an hour to class in this jacket in the snow, and it kept me warm. My only problem with this jacket is that there is no draw cord around the bottom. It's not tight around my body and sometimes I catch a breeze! Otherwise, it's a great jacket!

A wonderful product. Well built, and the pocket on the sleeve fits my iPod/RAZR cell phone perfectly(one at a time). I ordered the muave/rose and it looks cute, goes great with any shade of gray.
I use it for my winter runs, and my biking, and around the town. It's comfy, and fits well. My one concern is I can't wear my bulky watch without it getting a little too tight. The sleeves were designed to be compatible with an overcoat so they had to be a well fitting. It's not a problem, and it's not overly tight, just less of a space gap than you'd normally expect.

I bought this fleece to replace one that I already own and love but has seen better days. This one has been better than expected, it is great alone on cool/cold days as a jacket while running errands etc. It also works wonderfully under a shell while snowboarding, it kept me warm but not too warm on a very cold day. I like it so much I bought one for my dad as well.

I wear this under a shell or heavier ski jacket and it is great because it is close fitting and does not feel bulky. It fits closely at the neck and the sleeve cuffs and does not let in the cold air.It can also be worn casually with jeans or slacks because of it's stylish design.

I bought the black this year for an extra layer for when I ride my horse. The quality is great, just like last year. I have found that the sleeves in this new jacket are tighter around my wrists than I remember last year's version being when it was new - and that is a little annoying. Overall, I still think this is a great fleece. [$]

This was a great purchase, it is a true fit--great color (I bought the teal one) and very warm. It has very nice fitted sleeves so that cold air won't sneak in and convenient pockets. It also has a nifty arm zipper pocket to store a small item such a a chapstick.

This fleece is a perfect fit. It hugs and conforms to your body and is super warm even on windy days. If you don't like things form fit, I'd go with a size larger than your usual.

I bought this jacket last year in the "grizzly" color (which looks awesome with my chocolate-colored Uggs!). It is fashionable and functional. It is still holding up beautifully after daily use during last winter and early spring and now this fall. I have also washed the jacket several times with no problems at all. It has kept me cozy during many trips across campus. Perfect for a college student! I am back to order another color!

My hostess in Tahoe thought I needed a warmer jacket, but this one was very warm with a long sleeved shirt. The only negative is the collar will not lay down even when neck is not zipped. Still love it for warmth while being light weight. Like the arm pocket for tiny things like tooth picks.

I have always take a women's LARGE. I tried on a large, to small, tried XL again to small. I am exactly the same size, no change therefore I have to assume that your cut is smaller than it has been in the past.

This jacket is so great all around that I have it in 3 colors. The fit is so flattering, I always get compliments on it. The sleeves are a bit snug at the wrists because of the SYNC feature, but you get used to it. Now it's one of the things I like best about the jacket!

I love all 3 EMS products I purchased; the waterproof, windproof shell, the Core Fleece, and the Primaloft. Tested all 3 in the Canadian Rockies and they were just great!

I ordered this without being able to try it on, as it was not in our local ems at the time. well, i ended up takign it back because it just fit too tight. i am a small person, and the small i ordered was just enough too short in the sleeves to be a nusiance, not to count the fact that the sleeves are just too tight fitting to be very functional- if you are going to wear this fleece by itself as a shirt- ie- i mean all you have under it is a bra, then that works fine i would guess, but that is not what it as meant for, and the sleeves were just too tight to be comfortable. other than that it is a great fleece- it was very warm the couple of times i wore it, but the sleeves were just too tight for me, and i had to take it back beore it drove me nuts, lol. a great product still (notice my 4 stars still), but they should redesign the sleeves- if they did i would repurchase it definitely!!

I am a true size 2 on top with fairly long arms and broad shoulders and this fit perfectly. If you are an athletic "2," than this jacket is cut just right. It is tailored, fitted, but not tight. I could not/would not wear a sweater under it - but it more than comfortably fits a long sleeve shirt. I purchased the xsmall swiss miss [...] and found it to be an extraordinary value. Usually, I end up spending a fortune.The quality of the fleece is solid. It is durable, thick fleece - but chic enough not to be "bulky." Something that takes getting used to are the narrow cuffs. In the end, they keep you warmer, but I was not accustomed to it. Overall, I love this jacket. [...] I am a professional woman who engages in athletics, and works out daily, and seeks quality items so that I don't have to buy them twice....Although I happened to catch a great deal on the smaller size, knowing what I know now...I would happily hand over the full value for this jacket - it's worth it.
