I will be returning this item today. It's made of a scratchy, abrasive, inflexible fabric, and I simply can't stand it. Much more comfortable and versatile jackets are available for a lot less. Do not buy this product if you value smooth skin.
Eastern Mountain Sports Response:Of course we're dismayed to hear your jacket didn't work for you...and hopefully you've already returned it. It is a nylon shell and a far cry from cotton...but it also has been a very popular and well received Jacket for us. If we can help you find a better jacket for you...please call us here at 888.463.6367. Thanks.

This is a great jacket to bring with "just in case." It folds up to a pretty small size, but it's not at all flimsy. The hood is nice and big, easily accommodating a ponytail. I don't think the sleeves are too short at all. . .just because they don't completely cover your hands, it doesn't mean they're too short. This is the best rain jacket I've owned
Great jacket at a great price

I got this because I am moving to London and figured I needed some raingear that could be both casual and quasi-dressy. This packs up small and it's real light and has already withstood a small monsoon in Boston. Excellent purchase I would definitely recommend this jacket and website to a friend. [...] Kudos!

I was at a LAX game, wearing this jacket, and it poured on us for about a half hour - the bottom of my pants were socked, as were my sneakers. But my top half stayed dry. I was psyched!

I returned this product because it looked and felt to be of low quality for the price I paid. The material was almost too thin and lightweight, and seemed like it might not hold up well over time.

I like the fit of this jacket. It is the most 'sexy' outershell I've had. My only problem is that I always wear my hair up and I wish the hood had a larger bill.
