Hi, I bought this jacket for my wife and the men's version for myself (same jacket). It is quite lightweight and warm, overall a good jacket. I'm not sure I'd wear it for extended times outside in extreme cold, and definitely not for skiing, as it's too short. I actually got it in the clearance sale for [$], so it was a super deal as well.

Sweet jacket, super light but ultra warm... Easy to pack into a tight space, and although it doesn't show off one's figure, it isn't as puffy as many other jackets but at least as warm. Love it!

This jacket was great for the two weeks it lasted. It was nice and lightweight and really warm. I had the jacket for about two weeks before the down feathers started coming out of the jacket and then the zipper broke. The jacket was not tight at all, if anything it was a probably a size too big so I'm not sure why it wore out so quickly. I loved it while it lasted, but disappointed on its durability.

I wear this jacket anytime it's below 35 degrees. I purchased it in preparation for a cold semester abroad in Austria, and it's been so great. It zips into its inner pocket, which was a nice feature when I was packing. The ONLY qualm I have with it is that the outer fabric is a little thin and snags fairly easily. I brushed into a sign post and ripped a tiny hole on the left shoulder - easily sewn up, but I wasn't expecting it to rip so easily. Otherwise, it's a great jacket for the price, and keeps me warm here in Vienna!

I took this jacket to Chicago in the winter. It was perfect. Plenty warm and so lightweight it was easy to pack. But it's so versatile I wear it on chilly mornings in LA too and its not too warm. I'm so glad I bought this. Plus the folks at EMS are polite and helpful.

I was looking for a warm jacket for my wife at a good price. The jacket usually cost [$] so when it was on sale for [$] I thought we would try it. I was disappointed because the outer shell is not down proof and it seems like to many down feathers have already poked through. Also, the zipper is difficult to slide along the bottom 4" of the jacket. It does keep my wife warm though. I would not want to spend [$] on it, but for [$] it was a good deal. It packs up nice and small in its own pocket. REI brand sells a down jacket called the "Generator" for men, which is similar to the EMS Glacier jacket for [$] and I have tried it on and I feel that it is a better product. It was also on sale for [$]. I did not see a women’s version of it though.

This is a great winter jacket. It is lightweight, and yet warm. Originally purchased to have in my backpack and put on at the summit on those cold blustery hikes. But I find myself wearing it for everyday use on cold winter days. This jacket runs small. I usually wear size small in EMS tops, but the medium jacket fit me better. The jacket may look a little bulky too, but I like the overall fit and feel of this jacket.Main point: It keeps me warm!
Perfect jacket! I love it.

lightweight, warm, but the "relaxed" fit was way too loose, even when I went to try on a small I was swimming in it and the neck was way too spacious. I ended up going with the Sync heater jacket instead--worth the slightly higher price b/c it is more versatile and much more attractive.

My biggest concerns with down jackets are 1) how long it will take before the feathers start coming out and 2) whether the feathers will stay in place in the jacket, or all fall down to the bottom. So, on day two of wearing this jacket, I saw my first feather. I'm less than a month into owning it, and while it's not a complete feather fest, there's probably one that pops out every third time I wear the jacket. On the other hand, I didn't pay full price for it.
I've used this jacket going to and from winter athletic activities and as a mid-layer for skiing. As a mid-layer, it was not too bulky, but I'd reserve it for only the coldest days on the slopes. Recently, I've also used it as a more daily commute jacket, but I'd rather not do that b/c I feel like the more I wear the jacket, the more feathers will come out.
The XS fits well on a petite frame.

I purchased this jacket for my wife after buying her the Mountain Hardware SubZero jacket and returning it. For the price of the Mountain Hardware jacket, we got this jacket for my wife, the same EMS Glacier Down jacket for me and the Glacier Down Vest. Needless to say, the value of EMS is absolutely great. The jacket is just as warm (super warm) as the Mountain Hardware jacket and definitely fits more proportionally without too much bulkyness. We also like that it packs into its own pocket for traveling. Otherwise, the only downside is that I don't know how durable it will prove to be in the long run and its fit seems a bit larger than expected. My wife is 5'6 and 120lbs and the small is a little large. [...]
