I purchased the pants for travel overseas. I wore them on the trip over and on the return and found them extremely comfortable, even after 4 plane connections and 3 airports.
The pants were great in terms of comfort and general fit. However, they should make a short length as they are way too long for a 5 foot 4 inch person. They do stretch a great deal in the waist so the draw string is great.
The longer shorts are a plus!

I wore these pants on the plane to England and all day when I was hiking. They were extremely comfortable and good looking as well. I highly recommend them.
