I use the capris while hiking. They are very comfortable and hold up while scaling rocks. My only problem with the capris is that the front closure snap is very difficult to undo. I feel if I pull to hard it will break off. Good thing the waist is large enough to just pull on or off.

Really nice, but strangely larger than the full-length version. The 8's I bought feel like 10's, while the pants feel like true 8's.
I also had a snap tear out on the second wearing, but the other pair is fine & it's probably just one of those rare flaws. (I'm just mentioning it in case it's not.)

Very comfortable shorts! I AM glad I read the other reviews first though, concerning sizing, because I normally would have bought a sz 6, but I went for a 4 instead, and they're still a bit big! Definitely keeping them though...a bit baggy but I love all the pockets and the tarmac color is nice!

I love these pants - they go with everything and are the most comfortable I have. They run large, so buy a size down. The only drawback is the elastic waist panels tend to fold in the wash, which makes the waist more bulky.

These shorts are great, especially because the waistband has elastic insets on each side. That ensures a perfect fit in the waist. I use these shorts for day hikes and they work great and are breathable. Plus they are very nice style.
Very comfortable and cute!

These are my new favorite shorts (they fit more like long shorts than capris) . I love the thick waistband and the soft material.

I LOVE the wide comfy elastic waist....great for climbing and yoga. But I returned these capris cuz the pleats on the sides were just unsightly on my hips. Bummer. Maybe the EMS designers will read this and change them for next year! :0)

How about making these in NORMAL colors? (The olive drab was perfect for my recent African safari, but I'd also like some colors that are more appropriate for being around PEOPLE ... not just elephants, monkeys and lions ... )The off-white is OK - however, it's not very practical for keeping clean - but the "brownish-purple", or whatever that is - is simply ugly. How about making these in a nice beige/tan color, navy blue, also black?

My friend recommended these pants to me, and they're incredibly comfortable. The elastic in the waistband is comfy and allows for a lot of flexibility. The material is soft and durable. A great fit for anyone active.

Nice roomy fit and comfortable feel. Waist isn't too loose, as some say; rather the elastic is too giving and stretchy. However I'll take it any day over many shorts/capris where the waist gapes horribly in back (as most do for me). No one makes clothes to fit round-bottomed women!

These are great, but I got a size 8 and have to return them for a size 6. My hips are 39" but 8 was too big.

The elastic makes it really easy to move in these pants, but order a size down or they may be a little too lose and slip down.

Sturdy enough to stand up to kids, rocks, grass, etc., but breathable and comfortable enough to wear during outdoor games, hikes, and while just relaxing. Can be converted from hiking pants to "going out in public" pants with simple change of shirt. Great product!

I think the waist was a bit looser than I thought--
but I've also lost a little weight--who knows?

The ribbing around the elastic at the waistband bags out a bit, but other than that, these pants are fabulous! I work about 14 hours a day at a couple jobs and I can happily wear these pants from one job to another. The zippered pocket on the right knee has even become useful every now and again. I liked them so much, that I went back and bought a second pair!
