These are good pants- everything North Face makes is good stuff. Maybe because it's July (and blistering hot in NC), but I find these pants to be a bit on the warm side right now. Also, the waist is a little high for my liking. But, as always, the materials are good quality, and I'll get a lot of wear from these once it cools off a bit. The lighter brown color isn't the most flattering (when you are a size 16 like I am), but the darker color looks pretty cool. I wish NF would make more black. I get tired of the usual "light brown and dark brown" colors they offer. A dark green would be nice, too. But overall, you're gonna get what you pay for- good quality pants that will last you several years.
