This is the second pair of these I've purchased. They are my favorite pants and I wanted to make sure I had another pair in case I wore the first pair out - though, I've had them for a year and they are still doing great.
These seem to be a bit more fitted than the first pair I purchased when the style first came out, but they are more flattering and still comfy. Great for the trail and refined enough to run around town in.
I'm six feet tall and the length is true. I can sit down and not have my ankles showing, which is rare.

About 5 or 6 years ago I purchased the Tenaya pant from Prana. After the first pair, I immediately ordered 3 more in different colors because the pant was so versatile and hard wearing. It was also perfect for my petite athletic figure. I loved the quick release belt mechanism and adjustable waist (and it's not the adjustable elastic looking waist band of "granny pants," or the annoying maternity button type - which they did in a later version.) This pant truly flatters all figures. The thin abrasion resistant fabric was great all year round -- there was room enough without being too snug to pair it w/ long underwear, and thin enough to wear during really sweaty days. They were feather light and dried quickly - so perfect for wet activities too.
UNFORTUNATELY, they have changed the design several times. I have ordered each time hoping they might be the originals - not so. The new ones aren't bad - they just don't fit me right or have the same features.
Ironically, I know several women from several states who still rave about "the old/original Tenaya pant." This is not it.

They maintain a very streamlined appearance. Great for hiking and sightseeing as they are lightweight and have many pockets. Love the material as it is breathable and fresh looking. Very happy with this purchase.
Love these pants! Only complaint is the strap-like adjuster at the waist. It just looks odd because there is nowhere to tuck the end in!

Prana does it again. It's not everyday you find a great-fitting pair of pants in just the right material. These are lightweight and move with one's body like a dream. The waist rides right at my hip, no chafing when worn with a backpack belt! The legs are just the right cut, neither too flared nor too tapered at the ankle. I've taken to wearing these with a pair of capilene underneath and a pair of gaiters over them for xc skiing, they're so much more comfortable than any of the hard- or soft-shell winter pants I've tried. If I had to complain, it would be that the color selection is limited. The stone stains easily, the black shows off pet hair! I'd love a pair in blue, brown, or green... But with year-round wearability and a classy enough fit to wear everyday, these are a great deal!

I couldn't believe how well they fit when I tried them on. They are a great casual/stylish/hiking pant perfect for travelling. Note: I'm 5'9 and they are very long on me.

Comfortable, breathable, pockets & better yet - wash & wear. I bought a second pair in another color.
