Love the thumb holes. I hate when a shirt rides up when I pull a fleece or jacket on. Cuffs can fold back when not in use.
like it very much. good fit.

I bought last years model of the EMS T2 Techwick long underwear and bought another set this winter. Hands down last years version is much better than this version. I wore this shirt once for skiing in and the stiching started coming loose on the cuff of the shirt which left a big hole. They do keep you warm and wick sweat away, I just wish the craftmanship was as good as last years model.

I like that the material is not too thin or too thick. Just right underclothing when staying indoors OR going on winter walk. Wear my daily and plan to order another set of same thickness (midweight)

It's nice and soft but not warm as promised (you can't wear it on its own on a cool day) and it DOES NOT wick away moisture. it kinda traps it in. definitely DOES NOT keep me dry and comfortable!! not worth it.

I wore this along with the Techwick bikini as a baselayer for skiing in weather that was 3 degrees with the windchill. It wicks very well (I sweat an awful lot) and keeps you dry and warm at the same time. I wore a sports bra underneath. The only potential downside I could see is that the sleeves are bit long, and they have those cut-in thumb holes (look at the picture closely). Now, I enjoy shirts being cut long in the length, but some may not, and if you have shorter than average arms, you might want to rethink buying this shirt. If your arms are longer than usual, you'll love it. I wear a 36C in bra size, and am generally a size 8-10 in shirts, and the medium fit well, not loose and not snug. However, if I were not to have worn a sports bra, I think the fit would have been much more snug. I may buy another if I continue to ski!

I love that EMS consistently has thumb holes on their thermal tops. They are my favorite part of this product. Also, the size is great. It flatters a woman's body without being super snug. I wear it skiing as my base layer on colder days (I use the light weight top on warmer days) No complaints!

This I bought as a layer for skiing. It is a little snug-fitting around my chest, although I have a D-cup so that is to be expected. With a sportsbra I would not anticipate much less snugness. There are little holes for your thumbs, which I don't find useful, but are a nice addition. Otherwise it is cut right , the neck is comfortable, and it seems to wick well. [...]

I wore this (and the matching tights) as PJs in a cold bedroom while on vacation in CO. It was exceedingly comfortable and really kept me warm. My only (small) gripe is with the color description. It was not "ice blue". It was more of a pale green. Check the colors under natural light, not flourescent.

I love this line of long underwear tops. I wear them under sweaters when I go to work, as a base layer when backpacking, and also on the slopes. When the weather gets a bit warmer, I wear them alone as tops. The best improvement in the shirts this year has been the baseball-style sleeves. Makes them infinitely more comfortable! I don't recommend putting these in the dryer as they pill very easily and it makes the fabric rougher and thicker. I line-dry the techwick shirts which turns out well.
The only downturn in my most recent purchase is that the colors are misrepresented on the site. The "ice blue" is more of a sea-foam green. I'll be exchanging that one.

I request these shirts every year for Christmas. As a owner of a small landscape company it is important to have warm clothes that wash well (often), wear well, and can hold up to the elimantes. I wear and wash them daily and they hold up great. I also wear them under clothes when I am going out, they are so fitted that they aren't noticed (except the arms are long) and they aren't too hot inside. Thanks EMS

Pros:
Durable, Good Fit, Handy thumbholes
I've been wearing these for years and they've become a wardrobe staple. The weight is perfect - not bulky or flimsy. The fit is close and contoured so it goes under everything. The back tucks in easily. I can't imagine NOT wearing this shirt in the winter; sometimes I wear it as a shirt itself. It has never failed to keep me warm. The only problem with this shirt is that it absorbs odors, unlike other brands I've owned. But I won't switch back -- the fit is too good! I just buy them every 2 years; for the price that's no big deal.
