I bought these last week, and just tried them on for the first time today. Although they're thin and a good length, I'm not fond of them because there's no give to them. They are tight in some areas and baggy in others. When I sat down in them (because I plan to use them for kayaking) they were too constrictive. I plan to return them. On the other hand, I also bought the top and that fit much better.

Love this item. Bought seven pairs. Nice feminine colors. Fit is wonderful, length just right, especially like design of ankle area and waist. Unfortunately does wear out quickly. Other than it's that the perfect base layer for winter in the day under clothes or at night just used alone.
Bought 2 exactly the same, 1 didn't fit

I bought two pairs of Women's L Black, one fit great - after 2 washes (and no drying) they were a little short on the ankle, I am 5'9".
The second pair squeezed my calves so hard that I stood up and my pants stuck to my legs, I returned them easily. Factory error or some sort.

Very nice fit, love the lower waistband. I wear these under thin pants on winter hikes and am very warm. Also use to sleep in. Have washed several times now and are holding up well. Only thing that could be better would be to offer a tall size. If my socks weren't so long, I'd have major skin gaps on my lower legs.
ok fot but not stretchy enough

Didn't have enough lycra so it was a bit tight in spots and baggy in others. restricted movement and wasnt' very comfortable. Wouldnt' be good for activities that require a lot of movement

Very comfortable for skiing. Mid-waist cut worked well with jeans, too. Perfect for a recent ski vacation to Northern Colorado. Like a second, thermal, skin.

I was looking for a replacement for Bergeline long underwear, which are fleecey soft, warm, snug, stretchy and super comfortable; wearing them feels like being carressed. These Techwick long unders are not soft, not snug, and not super. They fit like the old fashioned kind of long underwear [...], in other words, baggy. The only reason I bought them was that they were advertised as a replacement for Bergeline, which they are not. It is not the product itself that I have issue with, but the advertising by EMS
Eastern Mountain Sports Response:We certainly appreciate the fact you are a fan of our Bergelene long underwear. With some advancements in design and materials, Bergelene is now called "Techwick performance long underwear." Techwick is more like than unlike its predecessor Bergelene. While change is inevitable and we regret your dissatisfaction with it…our Techwick line has quickly become one of the most popular and successful lines EMS has ever produced. Of course our first priority is your complete satisfaction with your Eastern Mountain Sports® purchase.

These sit low on the waist, which is good when wearing low-waist pants. They're great for freezing winter days, but can get hot if you're in a warm office.

The techwick fabric is great. Warm enough for freezing rain, and still comfortable enough to wear under jeans. Keeps warm in many conditions. Great Buy.

Very comfortable. Color is a bit ugly, but they are a base layer. Highly recommended. I commute on bike to work every day, summer and winter and I think I can wear these under my riding pants for as cold as about -15C.
Exactly what I was looking for :)

I wore this (and the long-sleeved crew neck matching top) as PJs in a cold bedroom while on vacation in CO. It was exceedingly comfortable and really kept me warm. My only (small) gripe is with the color description. It was not "ice blue". It was more of a pale green. Check the colors under natural light, not flourescent.

Purchased for extra layer on everyday basis in the house enabling me to turn down the thermostate, save on heating. Change level of activity, no problem, it keeps you dry, wicks away moisture.
